GLO Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 I have noticed that even though i have assigned separate partitions for the OS(C:), Program files(D:) and data(F:), some software still continue to bloat the OS drive!Programs for example Norton AV lets you assign it to the drive of your choice; in my case D: but there are some parts that still install in the C:! Like Shared Symantec data. How can i avoid this?
N1K Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 I'm afraid you can't, because that's Symantec's philosophy..
GLO Posted October 4, 2004 Author Posted October 4, 2004 Thanks Ninnox,In that case, do you know of any other methods to keep the OS partition as lean as possible?
N1K Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 You could use NOD32 but I'm not sure that NOD won't put some folder on C: drive even if you select D: drive for installation...
