ref.chm & chm files and printing

Hi there

for the purpose of printing winnt.sif section in ref.chm i'm in need of a free chm editor.

basically i want to remove the one's that i don't want from the ref.chm and be able to print less pages.

i googled but i came up with a nice program which is not free and doesn't let me to compile the chm.

so

1. is there any free chm editors

2. is there any better way to print the winnt.sif section under ref.chm (i can extract the html files from the chm but it gets even more confusing.. like that..)

I see "HTML Help Workshop 1.3" in my place, and that's what I use for CHMs.

Looks like an MS' own utility, and came with FAR HTML Help creator - and was originally part of re-distributables in Visual Studio '97.

aaaaa.... something, whatever. Its 3 MB or so - looks like freeware, and pretty good. You can try searching for it, and then try fiddling with it, to see if it helps you in doing what you want.

(since its freeware, the file can be direct transferred over IM to you, if you want ).

yep thanks I just got 1.4 which is the latest. and yes its free from MS and freely distributable
