gfgray
BartPE was designed for Adaware 6 not Adaware SE. I convinced AdAware to run under BartPE by editing the INF as shown in the attached file. However, when I run AdAware after booting into the BartPE environment, Adaware SE says:"Error while loading the Ad-Aware definitions file." (OK)It still opens and scans and everything, it just won't find any adaware without the definitions file. I have tried changing the in-program configuration and pointing it to the definitions file on my C drive, but I get the same error. I have also tried downloading latest defs. It acts like it downloads something, then gives the same error. I think AdAware uses a different kind of call to the file system?? that BartPE doesn't load support for. Anyone know how to get this to work? I'm sure a lot of people would like to know.Edit - Almost forgot to mention that if I boot into regular windows and let BartPE autoplay from there, BartPE's Adaware works fine.adaware.inf

Jotnar
You needed an additional two registry entries for Ad-Aware SE to work. See my post at the bottom of the page here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=24393Cheers
