.NET silent Installation

Hi to all and sorry for my english.

How suggested in http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/applications/netframework.htm

i have tried to install in silent mode the .NET Framework 1.1 Sp1 but obtain an error.

After the file extraction install say me:

"The current version of .NET Famework is part of operative system e can't be installed or removed with the installation program. Use Windows Update to update .NET Framework. Installation does not continue." (I have tried to traslate correctly from italian)

I can upgrade .NET only with windows update?

I need another version of dotnetfx file?

try uninstalling your old .net (should be in add/remove progs)

Nothing. Is not in add/remove progs list.

Sorry. I have forgotten to say that my operative system is Windows 2003 Std

I thinks is important.

mluca, the above download link, will only work for english versions.

Are you on an Italian Windows 2003? if so, then .NET is already integrated into the OS. You need to find the update for .NET SP1 italian, or as the dialog-box said, use Windows Update.

B) I'm new in "unattended word" but at point to use different language patch!!!

I have tried the italian version of the file!

After your reply i suppose that not need the dotnetfx file but i need only the KB867460 file because windows 2003 already have .net 1.1

I hope to solve my problem with this.
