crashking
ok here we go . I tried to make a winxp pro iso or cd ....whatever with xpcreate.everything seems cool untill it starts the slipstream then update exe "encounters an error and will be closed" . Do you have to be running winxp to make an xp cd with xpcreate?
homiebrah
If you're referring to the service pack, and running Windows 2000, it will not work. You must slip the SP on a system running XP.
GreenMachine
Thanks for sharing that, homiebrah. Never tried ... It does work from Windows 2003.
Richard Berg
GreenMachine: if you have your script rename .\i386\update\setupapi.dll when extracting to the SP's temp directory, that should allow it to work on Win2k machines.
