I have a large collection of photos and Documents that I want installed (silently) with XP into my My Documents/My Pictures Folder, is this possible ? if this has already been asked and answered I apologise but I couldnt find anything related.

I did notice a $Docs folder when making my unattended iso, do I possibly drop the files in there ?

ok 1 hour later and finally my pictures are compressed lol. ok so now how and where do I add this sfx file and how do I execute it on my private install ? also will i need to also silently install winrar before the sfx file for windows to be able to extract it.

ok I assume it will involve the start.cmd and if so do I even have a start.cmd or do I make one and if so do where do I place it and also where do I place my installation files ?

maybe someone could point me to a tutorial that explains things if Im asking to many questions lol.

hi..

just place it anywhere in your cd, example:

$OEM$\$1\Install\MyPics\<place it here>

then your start.cmd file should read

start /wait %systemdrive%\Install\MyPics\mypictures.exe

mypictures.exe is the sfx file u created, rename it if neccessary :)

ok done that, just one thing, will this be silent or do I add a /s switch to the Pictures.exe ? btw I did select "hidden" when I made the sfx, so that should make it silent I assume ?
