I tried To Install my windows with my name but tell now i didn't get the good solution to change it

i tried witch is written in this site also

http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/autologon.htm

but till now i get problem that is saying chack your name and your password

what i want it is changing the Default User to my own name

if any one have good sloution of this pleas give it to me and i ll thank him alot from my hart .

Just do a standard installation of Windows and then make the account. Very easy!

as long as you have administrator rights, go to the user accounts in the control panel

Create your user name, login to make sure you have all the necessary shortcuts, and transfer your documents and settings, then delete the other user account

I'd recommend not deleting the account files until you know you have your emails and stuff in the new account though

Hey I have A Question regarding this issue too...

althought we know the basic reg file and the cmd to setup your account for auto logon with usename and password.. but as far as not havieng a password on your account or administrator?

the administrator pass is set or either ignored by an astriks "*"

in the winnt.sif... so i got that part figured out

but if I didn't want a pass on the user account.. what would i avoid putting in on the useraccounts.cmd, or the autologon.reg...

anyone know?

thanks

B

that works only if you want the same user created on all computers.

otherwise you burn a lot of DVD to create one for individual use

that's why my configuration info goes on a floppy
