Register Components stage stalls what happens here

Featured Replies

For some reason my cd now stalls at the Registers Components stage of the Final Tasks window.

I nlited my cd. It worked fine. I added a regtweaks file, svcpack & some applications.

When I went to test this setup. It complained about not finding my svcpack file. I had forgotten to insert it into the directory. I told it to skip the file. The install went along fine it applied my regtweaks sort of. Not everything worked the way I wanted them too. And not all of my apps installed corectly.

So, I tweaked my reg's & app instal. Added my svcpack.inf in. And tried installing again. It would just stall at Registers Components stage. I tried regtweaks alone it stalled. I tried my svcpack alone, it stalls. I tried my apps alone, it stalls.

BUT, if I try the install with out anything added just a straight nlite install. Everything goes fine.

What could be going on? I tried uninstalling & reinstalling Vmware also.

I guess the next thing to do is try recreating my nlite install again & add my extras.

its not vmware :P

your things have errors in them, or possibly setup cannot find them.. make sure all paths are correct
