Hello. I have this floppy problem- when i start Windows, it sais floppy could not be located, press F1 to continue.

First i thought it's not connected properly... etc...

When i try to defragement A:\ (floppy) , my PC freezes.

When i try to open diskette, it sais that no floppy is in drive A:\

Anyways,i always have to waste CD's now , and as i said, my PC lags when i copy files anywhere (not in this topic)

Is this happening with only one or with all diskettes?

All diskettes, all. I mean i have a broken floppy, not diskette.

Buy yourself a new floppy drive. It is the cheapest peace of hardware

If the floppy drive is connected properly (floppy cabel, power cable) to the motherboard and floppy isn't working, you'll have to buy a new floppy drive one way or another...
