ironside Posted September 24, 2004 Share Posted September 24, 2004 I have succesfully created a up-to-date Win XP CD with no problems So now i thought after reading through some of the posts here i do a Windows 2000 Professional CD with all update intergrated. But they seems to be a problem with XPCREATE downloading the win2k updates, all i get is a "static" message in the download window when getting updates and thats it. Do i need to do something before XPCREATE will work with windows 2000 ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GreenMachine Posted September 29, 2004 Share Posted September 29, 2004 There is no special configuration needed for Windows 2000: XPCREATE recognizes the Windows Version.The Hotfix Lists for Windows 2000 and Windows 2003, as well as all non-English versions of Windows XP have been "blanked". That is to say that they report that no updates are to be downloaded. This was done due to outdated hotfix lists.
