Depends what switches they need for silent installation. Figure that out, and then check the "What Goes Where" page on the Web Site:

they use the /q/vn switch, it doesn't say where to put them on the website.

If it is not on the Web Site, it is unsupported. You will need to use conventional methods. See the MSFN Unattended Guide.
