Hi

Need my hand holding!

Currently on Pipex (ISP OK) using a Speedtouch 330 (Not OK). Having Power/Speedtouch/VIA chipset issues.

I have a wireless ad-hoc network for a laptop to connect to net.

Decided to purchase a Wireless ADSL Modem / Router, 54g variety.

Just really worried about performance issues and want reassuring (I know its going to be OK). I know the wireless network is many many times faster than my 512 service but would be interested in any stories of similar plans and any pitfalls encountered.

I live in a flat and considering placing modem / router near the main bt socket which is central to layout not at the end of the living room extension.
