Change XP Blue Setup Screen

When you first start installing XP, you have a blue background. At the top right it says (Windows XP Professional or Home depending on what you're installing) setup. How do you change that? I want it to say Matrix XP Setup.

on your xp cd edit the winntbbu.dll there is a guide in the unattended forum about doing this

No, that's the t minus whatever screen. I'm talking about the screen where all your file from the cd get copied to your hard drive.

It could be done by hex-editing the file setupldr.bin in the I386-folder, I guess...

Haven't tried though...

hey i found the file but when i modified it , the changes wernt showed has anyone found a solution

after hours of hunting i found it

edit the file SMSS.exe with a hex viewer, this file contains most error messages, titles etc for the text-mode setup

the file is in the I386\system32 folder

i used note pad to edit single words and all but no changes where applied

PS whats a good hex editior

i use resource tuner, works perfectly for me on every file i try and edit

hmmz, intresting...

perhaps idd try and changing some stuf in it like backgrond collors to black and

translating some installing messages to dutch, after all my entire cd is dutch,
