garymeg Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 I Got a CD ISO image thet is 788Mb in size. I extracted it to a folder with ISO Buster. altered a winnt.sif and went to create an ISO with nero and the size was 1955.xx Mb.Any one know how to recompress this ISO or the files before creating the ISO
MaGLLa Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 Try with WinISO. U can do that on the fly with him
Alanoll Posted September 18, 2004 Posted September 18, 2004 use CDIMAGE. WinISO's method as well as UltraISO's could cause problems as their comparisons are done by file size and filename but not hashes.
MaGLLa Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 @AlanollU're rigt but WinISO is lot easier to use and dont make problems so much as U say
prathapml Posted September 19, 2004 Posted September 19, 2004 Only CDIMAGE and UltraISO have the facility to "optimize" the data on CD (encode repeated files only once). And that's the feature due to which your CD size is so large - you need to optimize it.
