Hi experts,

Hope you guy can help me on this.

I try to make unattended installation of Win2k3 from CD for HP servers using its smartstart scripting toolkit and best practices.... (if you guys search on HP web sites on smartstart toolkit it will list all the document)

I run into a problem with copy files to CD for installation. The problem is when I boot up the server on floppy disk (what ever version such as 6.22, win95, XP...) the directory structure on the CD turned out to be

from $oem$ to _oem_

from $$ to __

ie what ever $ will be seen as underscore (_).

but the file structure name can be seen correctly on my NT system.

I used Nero to burn the CD.

What I have done wrong?

1. Goto unattended.msfn.org and grab the CDImage.zip files for your O/S.

2. Extract and run those files.

3. Goto www.dvddecrypter.com and download/install it.

4. use DVDDecrypter to burn your files to CD, using the ISO method.

I had to change to ASCII character set to allow $OEM$ to show up rather than _OEM_

Nero 6.6.1.15

Haven't tried burning yet.

I've used Nero before on a different system and not had this problem, although not with this version of Nero.
