cableghost Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 Xp has an option for choosing which application you want to open the media in for all cd and removable drives.My problem is that I do not get that menu anylonger. My removable drive does show up in explorer but no chance to select which application to use...I have tried MS Autofix...no help. I guess my question is, where in the registry might I make changes?
betlog Posted September 16, 2004 Posted September 16, 2004 As you suggest; a registry key will probably be easiest for your purposes, however if you have TweakUI.exe you can fiddle it in there as well.OR, just right click on the drive -> properties -> autoplay (tab) and figure out which one is set.
