Monitoring hardware temperature

I've been using some free software like Aida32 and the software comes with the motherboard to monitor my hardware temp like the cpu temp and chasis but both software giving different value.. even the BIOS temperature is different!

any software to recomend?

and what would be the normal temperature for the pentium4 3.0E processor because mine is 50C ..
