install InstallRite 2.5 in VNware : nothing happen

Hi,

i try installing InstallRite 2.5 in a vmware. but when i launch the setup, nothing happen. I guess a small windows appears and disappears right away.

Nobody knows what's happening ? is it a probleme of screen resolution or because of my regtweak ?

in fact i want to install it after my unattended installation of XP is finished. Just to finish some tweak before my personal gold release .

So i mount a shared folder, import InstallRite 2.5 and launch it from my vmware.

It is at this time nothing happens. I try to install many other soft, and it is without any problem. So at this point i have no solution.

As I can understand, you want to install it manually. Well, extract it with WinRAR, then use setup.exe to install it.

That's what I did. Both methods did not work,

neither the package installation nor the setup.exe after the use of winrar.

Nobody ever try to install it in a vm ? i am sure yes ... but does it ever work ?

Extract the installation files to the root of c: then it will work

I have exactly the same problem. For some reason the installer doesn't work anymore. It always used to work (also in vmware).

Maybe SP2 is the problem? or some regtweak?
