X86 is something to do with what proccessor type/operating system architecture type you have. X86 is for a windows system:

X86 ( for Windows 98/ME/NT/2000 )

XP32 ( for Windows XP 32-bit )

XP64 ( for Windows XP 64-bit )

it sounds like something to do with ASPI, have you installed a CD burner lately?

whats in the folders? if theres "nothing" click on Folder Options and tick "show hidden files"

anything there then?
