Lost a few icons on my desktop and when it rebooted after the upgraded got about 10 pages of trunkated

files errors while rebooting.

It asked no questions about activation....

Is all this normal?

Sorry, I just did the update to 1006 SP1 and did not have the same problem as u described. Are u using a legit key? Have you installed any betas prior?

legit copy, No beta's

HI I just installed 1106 no problems, some of my links in ie are not functioning link will open a new ie but not go to the link, workaround by typing full address, if you use tgt software they are waiting for the full release so stylexp will not work until then, one question, I let the upgrade archive previous system, how can I remove without uninstalling the patch and reinstalling the patch

dolls, sorry you will have to remove and add it again to make sure theres no error in "manually" removing it.

id recomend everyone use the acrhive option as a few people seem to have had errors on reboot.

when you reboot for the first time it DOES reboot very slowly as it updates the system, bit like when you start any operating system for the first time.

lost in space, can you take the patch out by add remove?

Also have you checked your serial is not blacklisted?

I ghosted and just sent went back to the previous version. I did not like all the errors I got when I rebooted.

I have RETAIL and didnt get one single error or promblem...hmmmmm seems some dont have such a copy then huh?

not closing programs doesent usually cause errors.. but sometimes it just does, usually when its something very vital, like sp1 heh.
