Can't disable system file protection on SP2

I downloaded the hacked file, extracted it, and booted w/ Bart PE to replace the default dll, but Windows File Protection still pops up. Anyone know how I can really stop this thing.

about your problemi think you miss a tweak in your registry that now i can't remember, sorry

The problem isn't with WinPE. When I boot back in to Windows XP the file protection thing still comes up.

also for the hacked sfc_os.dll file to work you need to apply this tweak in a reg file

;Disable Windows File Protection
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"SFCDisable"=dword:ffffff9d

For the hacked sfc_os.dll shouldn't it be

SFCDisable = dword:00000000

SFCSettings = dword:ffffff9d

That's at least what is perfectly working on our systems.
