scorpy Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 I remember from another post that a user stated that the deploy tools were not updated in service pack 2. Can I simply download the new one and replace it on the CD? Or will Windows File Protection kick in? And while I am on the subject, can I also replace the tcpip.sys with the hacked one from this forum? Or do I still need to turn off WFP? Because I dont like the thought of leaving my system files unprotected, but I dont want downloads hindered by a crappy tcpip.sys file. What can I do?Lastly, what is concurrent connections? Does it relate to the tcpip hack? Do I need it? I just am curious what its for/does.
Kleopatra Posted September 5, 2004 Posted September 5, 2004 You can replace all files you want on CD, there is no kick by WFP after install.concurrent connections doesn't relate to tcpip hack. The tcpip hack does relate the half-concurrent connections.
