SP2 Prompts to install Windows Movie Maker

Featured Replies

When installing Windows XP Pro with SP2 slipstreamed it promts

"Would you like to install Windows Movie Maker 2?"

or something along those lines.

I have used nLite to remove Windows Movie Maker, but it still promts for WMM2. Does anyone know how to overcome this?

Thanks all.

I was about to remove the Movie Maker also, but it seems that i might need to leave it be.

Yeah, that doesn't work either I tried it without Movie Maker, and with Movie Maker

But it still prompts for it.

I just relised that the thread is called "SP2 Prompts to install Windows Movie Maker".

I mean Windows Movie Maker 2 not Movie Maker 1.

Sorry about that :blushing:

Since this appears to be an nLite bug, maybe you should post about it in the nLite forum.

I don't think it is an nLite bug. nLite removes Movie Maker 1 not Movie Maker 2
