MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted September 1, 2004 Share Posted September 1, 2004 Can anyone throw some light on this I would like to slipstream the SR1 into my project 2k to include unattended. Just wandering can I use the same method as xp office slipstream?I have searched these forums, Google & Killer info etc but cannot find much to do with this? I used this to merge after making admin install point & extracting sr1 package,msiexec /a c:\Projup\INSTALL.msi /p c:\psr1\sr1.msp SHORTFILENAMES=1Has anyone else done this?I haven't heard of Peachys sugg before? MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted September 3, 2004 Author Share Posted September 3, 2004 I retried this again I can get it to update with the service pack but it starts the install & errors saying it requires the windows xp sp2 disc to be inserted & seems to be missing quite a few dll's? MAVERICKS CHOICE Posted September 4, 2004 Author Share Posted September 4, 2004 I failed to mention I have project 2000 & want to slipstream it with the sr1 update package for that version not project 2003 service pack 1.EDIT:Remade the slipstream script:msiexec /p C:\psr1\sr1.MSP /a C:\proj\INSTALL.MSI SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qbWorked a treat got it installing unattendly silent.Couldnt really see the problem though didnt think the script was any different any how going ok now?
