seperatist Posted August 30, 2004 Share Posted August 30, 2004 i am using comcast broadband, like it a lot, but if i am downloaded something and want to browse the web it slows my browsing to a crawl. i am using sp2 with the tcp patch. is there anything esle i can do? i am using sygate pro as a firewall too.i really notice a speed loss when i use bittornado. pthomas Posted September 13, 2004 Share Posted September 13, 2004 Even though you are on broadband, you still have a limited bandwith that your ISP has a cap on. Using tcp patches that allow for more connections is nice, but they all still right for the same bandwith.
