Hi guys ,

I want to restrict user from installing or download applications in thier WIN XP workstation ... i did search i gpedit.msc but i didn't found the restriction ....

can you help me ?


Isn't the option of just setting them as standard users? As far as I understand, standard users can't install new programs. I don't know about the downloading though.

just remove them from the administrators and power users group and they will not be able to install stuff.
