alienboo Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 Hi thereheres a question for u folksas long as i remember from the first win 1.0 to the latest win2003, there is a stupid behavior when u try to copy files and one file is bad.the copy operation quits and tells u "windows cannot copy bla bla bla ... "is there any fix for this behavior ?i mean, why windows quit and dont continue to copy all the good files and let meknow at the end of the operation that this or that file had an error ?
CoffeeFiend Posted August 28, 2004 Posted August 28, 2004 There is no fix for that, and chances are the never will be (same as why does it always say "yes, no, yes to all", but not "no to all"???). The only thing you can do is use xcopy, making sure to use the /C switch as well as the others you'd normally use.
