Is it OK to run sysprep -factory command during the T-13 stage of XP setup?

Basically I want the system to go into Factory mode right after XP setup

If you use Windows PE to setup your install, you will get exactly that.

I do not know how to do it with a CD install of Windows though.

whay not just run a command through a batch or runnonce, after the install...

wouldent that be abit more simplified?

I wanna do what IBM does ... it somehow, after XP setup finishes, it goes into factory mode RIGHT away. I prefer doing this to save time. Any ideas?

Factory mode is a part of the sysprep function ... it loads a network-enabled Admin account and you can install any apps you want. At the end you reseal and you start OOBE, OEM-style :P
