August 27, 200421 yr Is it OK to run sysprep -factory command during the T-13 stage of XP setup?Basically I want the system to go into Factory mode right after XP setup
August 27, 200421 yr If you use Windows PE to setup your install, you will get exactly that.I do not know how to do it with a CD install of Windows though.
August 27, 200421 yr whay not just run a command through a batch or runnonce, after the install...wouldent that be abit more simplified?correct me if im wrong|Drew|
August 28, 200421 yr Author I wanna do what IBM does ... it somehow, after XP setup finishes, it goes into factory mode RIGHT away. I prefer doing this to save time. Any ideas?Factory mode is a part of the sysprep function ... it loads a network-enabled Admin account and you can install any apps you want. At the end you reseal and you start OOBE, OEM-style
