Registering with microsoft after reinstall

Featured Replies

I reinstalled windows xp on August 22nd and I skipped registering with microsoft because I couldn't connect to the internet at the time. I have not had the reminder pop up to register like I have had in the past and I am wondering if someone can tell me how to go about registering again? I have no idea how I would do this.

I reinstalled because I couldn't get the SP2 update to download and I still cannot get it to download. I am sitting with the icon saying 0% downloaded since I reinstalled.

Thanks so much

Thanks for the link for SP2. :D

I would still like to reregister my xp again though if anyone knows a way to do it. I am not sure why the pop up is not coming up telling me I have to register it. :(

I know this doesn't look like much of advice, but I would just wait until that popup goes up again. I thought it was in the Accessories, but I can't find it there. I redid my whole computer the other day, and Windows didn't need me to activate it. Maybe it's SP2.

Look in Accessories -> System Tools for something like Activate Windows.
