hey there, for some reason eveytime I try to open the logonui.ex_ file (using Resource Hacker, Resource Turner or Restorator) I receive a message saying the file has unknown format...

I already have hacked the logonui.ex_ filebefore, but it was last year and I forgot how I did it

Is there any trick or something?

You need to expand the file first before editing it.

expand logonui.ex_ logonui.exe

or

expand -r *.*

this must be extrated first than Resource Hacker can open it.

In other words, that file is a CABbed file - so rename it with a .CAB extension, and de-compress/extract it using winrar/winzip. Then within that, you'll find the actual file to be edited.
