zprog Posted August 24, 2004 Share Posted August 24, 2004 I wasn't sure of where to post this, but I guess I've decided now.I own laptop with Windows XP SP2 and have Verizon DSL. It comes with the Westell 2200 DSL modem. I was wondering about the following problem I've been having:Whenever I disconnect the Westell modem without disconnecting from Verizon DSL (I use the NIC Ethernet option over the USB), my computer freezes, and in no way am I able to recover my data, nor is the mouse even allowed to move.
