pit
My desktop icon text color is white. How do I change this to a dark color for easy viewing?

pit
doesn't work My desktop :|but :Microsoft makes the desktop very flexible and configurable. However, there is not a way to change the font color of your desktop icons. You can, however, change the font, the font size and you can even make the font bold and/or italic. Simply right-click on any blank spot on your desktop and then select properties. Click on the appearance tab. In the box labeled Item click the drop-down menu and select Icon. There you can manipulate the font to something more readable. You can also change the fonts on the various windows and title bars. If things get out of hand, you can always select one of the default themes to get you back to square one. If you need more contrast on the font, you might just try changing the desktop background to a darker color.this is from ms forum.
zprog
Ah, so that's what you wanted to do. To tell you the truth, I have never needed to do that, and therefore don't know how to. I guess the forum is right, but there still should be a way to do that with a skinning tool. Hm......
