What is the advantage of not just pointing the install right to the WDM director for the audigy drivers. Or just extracting the nvidia drivers to a folder and pointing to is? Versus what other method?When we install drivers this way, they will only get installed when the required hardware is there. If we silently install the _packages_, it will also get installed on systems where this hardware is not present.I hope this was your question...EDIT: to get the Audidgy's control panel installed, please see the topic about it in the Device Drivers forum. What's up with the audigy control panel?Why double post?The audigy's control panel is (correction: was) quite difficult to get installed, as it wasn't installed through the driver's inf file.
