MaaR Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 Hi there!there is a problem for me with new 2kcreate it stops working suddenly...log file:XPCREATE_log.zip
Virindi Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 I see a lot of this kind of thing in your logs: 4 File(s) 3ÿ583ÿ680 bytes 2 Dir(s) 19ÿ888ÿ185ÿ344 bytes freeI'm not sure what's going on there, but...Also, it somehow does not detect your source version:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10:55:52 -- Determine Source Version. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------(nothing else). Is this an english version of Windows 2000?-J
GreenMachine Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I've seen something like that recently running an English version of XP, using a non-English local settings. (Estonian in the example I saw, posted in the last week or two.) I suspect your case is similar in Latvia.I still do not have an answer. Perhaps you can provide a bit more information for when I have the time to debug it.
MaaR Posted August 18, 2004 Author Posted August 18, 2004 @GreenMachine: that's true - I'm using english version of win2000 & XP with non-English local settings (Latvian). XPcreate is just closing on that point. older (old) version of XC works fine.
MaaR Posted August 18, 2004 Author Posted August 18, 2004 with english regional setings same thing XcLog.ZIP
GreenMachine Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I suspect you are in the same boat as noted in this post:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=23246I don't have an answer at the moment, nor any time for the next couple weeks, at which point I will be listing an update.I can only sugest you do a fresh install of a "real" english version (accepting defaults from the start, not changing them back later), and try that.Sorry ...
MaaR Posted August 26, 2004 Author Posted August 26, 2004 thanks GM, fresh install (without any regtweaks) helped. XC works fine now
GreenMachine Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Cool! Now you can put things back little at a time, until you break it, and you will know what causes the error.Glad we got you going.
