I see a lot of this kind of thing in your logs:

4 File(s) 3ÿ583ÿ680 bytes

2 Dir(s) 19ÿ888ÿ185ÿ344 bytes free

I'm not sure what's going on there, but...

Also, it somehow does not detect your source version:

(nothing else).

Is this an english version of Windows 2000?

I've seen something like that recently running an English version of XP, using a non-English local settings. (Estonian in the example I saw, posted in the last week or two.) I suspect your case is similar in Latvia.

I still do not have an answer. Perhaps you can provide a bit more information for when I have the time to debug it.

@GreenMachine:

that's true - I'm using english version of win2000 & XP with non-English local settings (Latvian).

XPcreate is just closing on that point. :blink:

older (old) version of XC works fine.

I suspect you are in the same boat as noted in this post:

I don't have an answer at the moment, nor any time for the next couple weeks, at which point I will be listing an update.

I can only sugest you do a fresh install of a "real" english version (accepting defaults from the start, not changing them back later), and try that.

Sorry ...

thanks GM, fresh install (without any regtweaks) helped. XC works fine now :thumbup
