prathapml
If you need to be able to use the "EXPAND" command in a recovery console, you'd put that executable (EXPAND.exe and any DLLs for it) into your appropriate boot folder. I for one, have the console version of "rar32.exe" also in my boot (or PRO1 folder, as you may better know it) so that I can extract from compressed RAR/ZIP files.I'd like to know what other items you have placed in there - basically, what are the tools that you place there for your use? Jotnar
Check out the demo of ERDisk (by Aelita I think). Older versions used to let you create a set of recovery disks or an iso (using the original Windows install CD for NT/2K/XP/2K3) that were basically the windows recovery console with added features like registry editing and stuff. I'm guessing they still allow you to create the floppies for free...they never timed out or anything. Raxco (sp?) also used to have a similar product that let you create floppies for free. I remember using it on some NT boxes a few years back.Cheersedit - Yikes! the download for ERDisk used to be around 10mb now its 110mb!
