Yes, there is. I did run it on a K6-2 once and that did have ISA. Also, check out your registry for 'isapnp' and you'll find plenty of stuff.

it's still there in XP, but at best its very flaky compared with win9x/NT.

With Windows 2003, MS finally (!) stopped supporting ISA bus.
