ceez Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 Zup peeps,My uncle is having a weird problem with his outlook express. He has winxp Pro with all updates in his pc. I have fixed his pc in the past in which he had a total of 61 viruses/trojans and junk in his machine, so i dont know if that might be an issue now....When he receives a message via OE he can see the from, to and subject with text but when he opens the email it comes up blank.... there's no text to read. I removed and reinstalled from add/remove in windows components, re-installed ie6 by downloading ie6setup.exe from MS. Had him clear out all his temp files with a prog called IEprivacykeeper. Deleted his account from OE and recreated it....no luck.I setup his account on my pc in my OE and i can see the text ok.any ideas?...cause i am outta' them!!! thkz!
argon007 Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 I will delete them when I see those spam mails...because I hate the spam...
ceez Posted August 15, 2004 Author Posted August 15, 2004 actually it's not spam....it's from people that he knows...even if i send him an email it will come out blank.....
ceez Posted August 15, 2004 Author Posted August 15, 2004 ok i found the fix for..... i re-installed outlook by running an inf file in c:\windows\inf. the file is msoe50.inf. just right click and select install. you will need the cd. as soon as it was over i opened up OE and he could see the text in his emails!that's all folks.ceez
