piaqt Posted August 13, 2002 Posted August 13, 2002 Access violation at address 004807DA in module 'Restorator.exe'. Read of address 01DF1052I get the above when i try to save an altered file. Just started recently.2 questions: What is an acess violation in English, and how do I fix it?
LS_Dragons Posted August 15, 2002 Posted August 15, 2002 Do you have some 'skin' program installed called RESTORATOR? If so, uninstalling should fix it. The problem usually occurs when an application tries to "access" some data - but the data is no longer where the application remembered it to be. Hope that makes sense. LS_Dragons
piaqt Posted August 15, 2002 Author Posted August 15, 2002 Thanks for the description. Restorator is a res hacker. I got that error when trying to save an altered file. Whatever caused it, went away. Works fine now.Again, thanks.
