eagle00789 Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 You have placed them in the location i had placed the files in glent, Also, i used the tool from JCARLE. Just selected all the files, and dropped them onto the window. then removed all the files that didn't ended with "_"
eagle00789 Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 Ive used the compression bin by JCARLE ;i have them in c:\XPCD\\$OEM$\$$\FontsInstalling now ,see how it goes I just wondered how Windows could install them automatically while they were compressed! I guess that windows setup detects when files are compressed, and thus decompresses them automaticly
glent Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 **** it only some fonts have been registered i just dont get it!! Ok i have a folder with around 1200 fonst okso i add them into my c:\winodws\fonts folder then open regedit and export the key ,then i add all the fonts in to compression bin and place them into the right folder,I know this beacuse there all there in c:\windows\fonts after install and i add the exported key back into the regisrty.I wont give up trust me
mazin Posted August 26, 2004 Posted August 26, 2004 I guess that windows setup detects when files are compressed, and thus decompresses them automaticlyBut when you first talked about this idea, I thought we would be able to add those reg keys in a HIVE already there in i386 and put cabbed files in i386, too.Was I dreaming?!
