paquetjs
I am not currently running a server but I have Windows Server 2003 installed and I want to run it as VPN server. Let's say that I have an always-on connection and that my server is properly configured, what do i do with it locally once its running? Do I always need to be logged on locally, or can I use it as an always on VPN server while still using it locally as a workstation? Will my server be online if I am on the Windows Login Window (not logged in locally).John
Marsden
Server services are always online... Your server could be running a couple of different services or hundreds... it all depends on how much hardware power you have... You can be on logged on locally as well as supporting remote VPN connections...
