I had that happen to me once. If I remember right, it had to do with the HDs not being installed right. Check the jumpers and the IDE cables.

Also double check to make sure the drive is good.

this is fairly common i think.. its not caused from any bad hardware.. its something 2 do with the winnt.sif file i think.. search the forum

if you made a win2k cd yourself are these at root?

CDROM_IA.5 -if adv. server build

CDROM_IP.5 - pro build

CDROM_IS.5 - server build

CDROM_NT.5 - probably the file you do not have at root

cdromsp4.tst - needed for a lipstreamed ver w/ sp4 (if you slipstreamed sp2 or sp3 before sp4, you will need to include the cdromsp file for that version as well/

Well i was missing some files in the root of the disk (CDROM_IP.5 and CDROM_NT.5), and the pc it was to be installed on had a loose IDE cable for floppy.
