XPCREATE, SP2 and DX9C

this post really is for no error , my question is when will it be updated to work with directx 9c , also will this program work for sp2 , the windows update site is slowly starting to release patches for it I think ?

I downloaded directx 9c distro pack the big one alreadly but not sure if it will just work with xpcreate program, also once updated will nLite work with the patched windows? http://nuhi.msfn.org/

also it would be nice if I could make nvidia drivers will with xp cd. is this a possible fix for xpcreate in the future , etc.. include drivers for nvidia cards , like the 61.77_win2kxp_english release files with the xp pro installer

I think u need to read more about xpcreate.

it basically slipstreams the hotfixes and updates u put on the corresponding folders. and according to those folders it uses specific switches to integrate the setups to the windows cd.

so sp2 is already supported with xpcreate so as directx9c.

drivers: including drivers would be pain in the ***. 1st u'd have to remove the old entries of old drivers that are included and update the inf's accordingly and at some point tell the win setup to execute the setup.exe so that it installs the nvidia tools.

well u can do this for 1 but the work gets harder and harder if u want it to do this for lots of drivers.

if u search ppl have already integrated the old version of nvidia driver (it was 45.33 I think) so if u can find that article on the forum u can just do the same for the 61.77...

ok, but it does not answer my question about if nLite will work with the final patched windows , I know that once modified the windows source and installed into a iso image from nlite that nlite does not work with the modified windows it creates , the cd image from nlite creates , if modified by it again , and you try and make a iso image from not the orginal windows source that it will fail to create the iso image, so once xpcreates the patched xp pro will nlite be able to edit it?

also if I downloaded directx 9c distro and put the exe into the directory for xpcreate will xpcreate try and download it again or keep the file if put into the directory without redownloading it?

SP2 should work, try it and see (I don't have it).

DirectX 9C has not been integrated/tested, and there is no XPCREATE support for it at this point.

As for nLite questions, you'll have better luck in the nLite forum: I have no experience with it.

Developement has been stalled due to ... VACATION!!!!
