devil270975 Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Hmmm, i installed preview of sp2 and couldnt get my bluetooth dongle to work after that ( i had lots of bluetooth devices like radio and crap ) none of which i have found a use for or even know how to use, i reinstalled the drivers for bluetooth device but it still says bluetooth device not found, but i can use the bluetooth wizard for sp2 to send files, anyone else had this kind of behavour, and has anyone found a fix for it

prathapml Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 Firewire is "crippled" in SP2 pre-release builds. Support for it is rather limited in the pre-release builds of SP2, so that you won't use SP2 RCs on a long-term basis. They'd like you to upgrade to SP2 final, whenever it comes out, as soon as possible - in order to use firewire normally again.Prolly it is the same case with blue-tooth. I do know it for a fact that Wi-Fi capability and the wizard to setup 802.11b-protocol-based networks were less than full-fledged in all the betas (and Release Candidates) that have come out until now.
