prathapml
Is the server setup as a domain controller?Yes, check if that is the case - and whether your default login is to the domain (instead of local machine). If so, only users for whom accounts exist on the DC (domain controller) can login to any machine which is part of that Domain.

mafiasilk
enable the guest account on the windows server, or create duplicate account and passwords on the server to match the XP boxes that connect.
