windows 2003 printer sharing problem

:) hallo, some body i got a problem between windows 2003 printer sharing problem. I had install a xerox phase 3110 on windows 2003 standard edition, and adding sharing and setup the permission. But, for windows xp pro once need to connect to my printer It will asking for username and password, so that i login as administrator and password to use the printer. but i try to avoid the login process so that i add a account for windows xp user, but after i add-in the account , the users of windows xp pro become "do not have the permission to access to this system" I need someone guide me for this Thanks you :rolleyes:

Is the server setup as a domain controller?

Yes, check if that is the case - and whether your default login is to the domain (instead of local machine). If so, only users for whom accounts exist on the DC (domain controller) can login to any machine which is part of that Domain.
