Curv Boll Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Hi ,Is the server setup as a domain controller?CB
prathapml Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Is the server setup as a domain controller?Yes, check if that is the case - and whether your default login is to the domain (instead of local machine). If so, only users for whom accounts exist on the DC (domain controller) can login to any machine which is part of that Domain.
roy1984 Posted August 5, 2004 Author Posted August 5, 2004 No , this server is not a domain , got any way to sharing out the printer without act as a domain?
mafiasilk Posted August 14, 2004 Posted August 14, 2004 enable the guest account on the windows server, or create duplicate account and passwords on the server to match the XP boxes that connect.
Marsden Posted August 15, 2004 Posted August 15, 2004 go into Group Policy and have clients Search the Network for Shared Printers. Set it to Enabled.
