jrzycrim
You could put this in you WINNT.SIF:[Shell]DefaultStartPanelOff = YesDefaultThemesOff = YesDefaultStartPanelOffSpecifies whether to use the classic Microsoft® Windows® Start menu instead of the Windows XP Start menu, and displays icons for My Computer and My Documents on the Windows desktop.DefaultThemesOffSpecifies whether to use the classic Windows visual style instead of the default Windows XP visual style. You can also disable the themes service by disabling it in the registry:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Themes]"Start"=dword:00000004

ChiDragon
DefaultThemesOffSpecifies whether to use the classic Windows visual style instead of the default Windows XP visual style.Isn't that exactly what you want to do??
Alanoll
I know what you mean.....I attached a reg file with my current settings. It's based on per user, and must be entered from either a another user or before the user logs on.Also, themes can change more then just the visual style.reg.reg
ChiDragon
Yes, but he seems to want to use the regular Windows Classic theme rather than a custom theme file, and that's what XP defaults to when the usual theme is turned off (at least for me...).
