Alex T. Posted July 31, 2004 Posted July 31, 2004 I need to know where my Intel 5.00.1012 chipset drivers go, I can't seem to find specific intructions. * If I put the chipset drivers in FILESCD\$OEM$\$1\DRIVERS will this work? Will it integrate the drivers into the install?
Alex T. Posted August 1, 2004 Author Posted August 1, 2004 Anyone? bump. I also have tried all steps and cannot get my RAID drivers working.
Alex T. Posted August 2, 2004 Author Posted August 2, 2004 If anyone could help me I would appreciate it before my post gets burried 3 pages back.
Alanoll Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 I'm not sure HOW XPCREATE propagates it's driver list.....but you added your CHIPSET to FILESCD\$OEM$\$1\DRIVERS you would then need to make an winnt.sif file and add the path to OEMPnPDriversPath ( unattended.msfn.org for help ), but it will not be added to TXTSETUP.SIF i don't think like the raids would.http://greenmachine.msfnhosting.com/XPCREATE/raid.htmFollow that, but keep in mind, if you're driver is not listed there, it may not work. It has to be digitally signed.
Alex T. Posted August 4, 2004 Author Posted August 4, 2004 Got the RAID drivers integrated, I guess I will just foillow the same procedure for the chipset drivers.
GreenMachine Posted August 4, 2004 Posted August 4, 2004 Just put the chipset drivers into in FILESCD\$OEM$\$1\DRIVERS\001, add DRIVERS\001 to the OEMPnPDriversPath in WINNT.SIF, and you should be fine. In short, standard procedure. RAID is special case, as they need to be "integrated" into the source. Hope that get's you going!
