chee Posted July 24, 2004 Share Posted July 24, 2004 i've tried this :all 10 stpes are devided into:a: pure dos mode1. boot from cd-rom and run command prompt from 98bootable cdb: dos via xp2. access into directory c:\windows\system\config3. run command:copy SYSTEM h:\4. reboot from hdd-05. access into command prompt,run command:reg load HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\sys h:\SYSTEM6.acess into registry and edit/delete the unwanted keys7.shut down regedit.exe9.into command prompt,run command:reg unload HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\sys10. run command: replace h:\SYSTEM C:\windows\system32\conifgbut was choked by this: i'd tried 10 in three ways andgot 1) in xp Normal mode and safe mode:extended error 322) in command prompt from 98bootable cd:bad command or file namewish further help could be granted!thanks a lot!
